Man At Large After Firing Gun Into Long Island Home During Dispute

Police are asking the public's help in locating a man who fired a gun into a Long Island home during a dispute.

Bernard King attempted to kick in the front door at an East Islip home on East Main Street at approximately 6:40 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, Suffolk County Police said.

King then fired three rounds into the door. King also called the victim inside the home and made verbal threats. No one was injured.

King, 34, Bohemia, fled in a 2020 Kia Sorrento, which police later located. 

Detectives believe King fled to Nassau County. 

The Nassau County Police Department is assisting in the investigation.
